November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of women at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
