We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd thought. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that most females at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her hubby and remains in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
