After cigarette smoking almost constantly when the depression embeded in, I began to notice the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women.
