We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. Setting off to work every day, worried more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. After smoking almost continuously when the depression embeded in, I began to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that many ladies at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a extremely little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her hubby and remains in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
