We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up till September, I had actually been similar to you. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
