We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd thought. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. After smoking cigarettes almost constantly when the anxiety embeded in, I began to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that most females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her hubby and remains in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
