We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been similar to you. We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, imposed on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
