I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
