In the third week, a despair started to sneak in. I had nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I began to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, implemented on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that many ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies.
