We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second idea. Setting off to work every day, worried more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of women at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other females. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her partner and is in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Naturally, whenever I spoke with them, I utilized terms like a neighbour to bridge this space in my understanding. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they seemed to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City. I never talked to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I mention him.
