We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her other half and is in the procedure of moving.
