All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been much like you. The first couple of weeks were great I. managed to get all the little tasks that accumulate done. Then in the 3rd week, a malaise started to creep in. I had nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses throughout the street. I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of all of it. I think it's time I offered you a total photo of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will come in helpful in the future. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
