I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
