We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and state that many females at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
