We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy deal with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her hubby and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and dad Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself.
