We have a no smoking policy in our home, enforced on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). This indicates that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost continuously when the anxiety set in, I began to notice the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
