We have a no smoking policy in our house, enforced on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). This indicates that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. After smoking nearly continually when the depression embeded in, I began to observe the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her other half and is in the procedure of moving.
