With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that many ladies at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
