We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of women in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
