We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of females in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not understand the half of everything. I think it's time I offered you a complete picture of our street and individuals who reside on it. It will come in beneficial later on. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
