From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would interrupt me now, and say that many ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
