We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that most women in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her partner and remains in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I cope with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. I never ever talked to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I mention him.
