November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
