We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, imposed on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking practically continuously when the depression embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would disrupt me now, and say that many females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. Then last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.
