We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, enforced on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that most women at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not know the half of it all. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her husband and remains in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a good time.
