We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy deal with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
