After smoking nearly continually when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would disrupt me now, and say that most females at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all).
