With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
