We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, implemented on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). This suggests that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking practically continually when the depression embeded in, I started to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Then last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
