We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, enforced on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This suggests that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After cigarette smoking nearly constantly when the anxiety set in, I began to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her hubby and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time.
