We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been similar to you. I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, imposed on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). This indicates that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After cigarette smoking almost constantly when the depression embeded in, I started to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and state that many women in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not understand the half of it all. I think it's time I offered you a complete picture of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will come in beneficial later on. It's a extremely little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. She recently separated from her hubby and is in the procedure of moving.
