We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that most women in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of it all. I think it's time I offered you a total image of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will be available in beneficial in the future. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
