We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would disrupt me now, and say that many ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her other half and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time.
