After smoking cigarettes practically continually when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women.
