With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
