I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home.
