We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second idea. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of women at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy deal with their two teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her husband and remains in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Naturally, whenever I spoke to them, I utilized terms like a neighbour to bridge this space in my knowledge. I never ever spoke to him, even though what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
