This implies that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. After cigarette smoking practically constantly when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of females at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
