We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been similar to you. The very first couple of weeks were great I. managed to get all the little tasks that accumulate done. Then in the third week, a malaise began to creep in. I had nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, imposed on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies in the house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of everything. I believe it's time I provided you a total photo of our street and the people who reside on it. It will come in useful in the future. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
