I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of women at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all).
