In the third week, a malaise began to sneak in. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. I began to select up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that most women at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies.
