We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a reservation. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had actually been just like you. The first couple of weeks were fine I. managed to get all the little jobs that accumulate done. In the 3rd week, a malaise started to sneak in. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I began to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This indicates that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost continually when the depression set in, I began to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of females at house do what I do, chat and stop with the other females. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
