We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a doubt. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up up until September, I had been much like you. We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our home, imposed on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After cigarette smoking nearly continuously when the depression embeded in, I started to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of females at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
