November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
