We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd thought. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
