All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been just like you. I joined the ranks of the long-term sick, continued to receive my paycheque, and sat and took it easy. The very first couple of weeks were fine I. managed to get all the little jobs that accumulate done. In the third week, a malaise started to creep in. I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking policy in our house, enforced on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses throughout the street. I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her hubby and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers.
