The very first couple of weeks were great I. managed to get all the little jobs that pile up done. In the third week, a malaise began to sneak in. I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes throughout the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that many females at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't know the half of everything. I think it's time I gave you a total photo of our street and the people who survive on it. It will be available in useful in the future. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
