We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, enforced on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This indicates that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes practically continuously when the depression embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would interrupt me now, and state that the majority of ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her other half and remains in the procedure of moving.
