November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
