With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of ladies at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy deal with their two teenage sons. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
