We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. We have a no smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). This means that whenever we wish to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking nearly continually when the depression set in, I started to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would interrupt me now, and say that many ladies at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her spouse and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I never talked to him, although what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
