From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After cigarette smoking practically continually when the anxiety set in, I started to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her spouse and is in the procedure of moving.
