After smoking almost continually when the anxiety set in, I began to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
