I had nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, imposed on the majority (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). This means that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two homes across the street. After smoking cigarettes nearly continually when the anxiety embeded in, I started to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of females in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her hubby and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a great time.
