We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. After smoking almost continually when the anxiety set in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that most ladies in your home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not know the half of all of it. I believe it's time I provided you a total picture of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will come in beneficial in the future. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
