I started to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and state that many women at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
