We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second idea. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past your home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and state that most females in the house do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
